Penzance Literary Festival Association

Join the Penzance Literary Festival Association

The initial impetus behind pz-litfest 2010 came from members of the Penzance Chapter of the Society of Authors. As arrangements for the festival progressed, it became clear that a separate organization was needed to run it, so in June 2010 the PLFA was formed. Its objectives are

  • To promote an annual literary festival in Penzance
  • To celebrate the literary life of West Cornwall
  • To nurture and support reading and writing activities in West Cornwall
  • To campaign for the encouragement and appreciation of local authors.

PLFA is a non-profit-making organization. Membership is open to anyone who wishes to join with others in furthering the above Aims. It is a condition of membership that members agree that their names and email addresses are made known to all other members.

The membership fee for 2010 is £10.

Applications for membership must be made on the standard PLFA Membership Application Form.
